Description: The secondary education sector in Bangladesh is a unique private- public partnership between the government on the one hand and communities and other providers, on the other. However, the sector is largely unplanned and of very uneven quality in terms of both resource inputs and outcomes. Edburgh consultants requested consultancy services for a sector review and identification mission in the area of secondary education, with the aim of specifying potential upport under the Multi annual Indicative Programme (MIP) 2007-2010.  This mission report has been prepared following the Review and Identification Mission’s extensive round of discussions with secondary education stakeholders and field visits to schools
