| Description: | In the course of this technical assistance, the capacity in the Division of Statistics (MoH) has been upgraded to manage an improved implementation of Health Management Implementation System (HMIS) nationwide. After analysing gaps in capacity and the planned interventions of other development partners, we provided technical assistance to the Division of Statistics in the Ministry of Health. The mandate, role and responsibility of staff in health statistics should be clarified. A plan of action for improved implementation and use of HMIS has been drawn to build capacity at all levels to fulfil this role. |
