| Description: As a first step towards the development of the Oikocredit Gender Policy a Gender Audit was carried out. The focus of Gender Audit was on Oikocredit internal operations and programming and not on the activities of the partner organisations. The main objective of the present gender audit is to provide an overview and a baseline of gender mainstreaming throughout Oikocredit as well as an analytical inventory of Oikocredit strengths, potentials and shortages in addressing gender equality and to provide information which will be used to develop the Gender Policy. The present assessment also makes recommendations for monitoring and evaluation of the gender mainstreaming within Oikocredit. | |
