Description: Team Leader, Cat II
• The International Consultant will possess at least a post-graduate degree in special education, special education or educational psychology with a concentration in the education of students with learning disabilities
• At least 10 years experience in special education program or curriculum development, teaching, or training for students with learning disabilities (European Union Category II)
• Relevant experience with gifted education will have been at a school system, ministry of education and/or national/international levels
• Extensive experience in program evaluation and research methodology
• Competence in electronic data systems and statistical analysis.
• Understanding and appreciation of the issues in the education sector in Jordan or other countries in the region
• Understanding, through practical involvement and experience, of the effective use of ICT as a tool an and medium for specific subject-based learning, teaching and assessment
• Proven capacity to manage, and work effectively as a leader, trainer and facilitator with groups of educators in curriculum and assessment design and development activities
• Ability to monitor, assess, document and report on progress
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal
• The Consultant will possess excellent written and verbal skills in English; ability to speak Arabic is considered to be an asset
