Yemen MiS project awarded to Edburgh consultants
We are very proud to announce that the Yemen Ministry of Education has award the 500 School Survey project of Basic Education schools to Edburgh consultants.This project is seen as an important initiative to further develop and manage the Yemen basic education system. In order to learn from the past and to early recognise trends the availability of accurate and reliable statistics and data are tremendously important. Management of change and modernization will not happen without reliable information on what is actually happening on the ground. The objective of the 500 School Survey programme is to assess the current data availbale We expect to deliver the results late 2009 to the Ministry. This is perfectly timed in order to use the findings and recommendations to improve the five yearly full and detailed Survey which will be conducted by the Ministry for the school year 2010/2011.
